As galleries and visitor attractions become more and more preoccupied with the physical accessibility of their sites they look to multimedia to resolve some of these issues. A site such as Stirling Castle can be difficult to visit yet as a site of such historical significance it is impossible to add all the necessary ramps within towers and palaces.
Working with the Historic Scotland branding we created an easy to use interface that would allow visitors unable to enter certain areas of the castle to see them in video. Over 45 minutes of content was created from original filming done on site. Working together with the scriptwriter, a full script and storyboard was produced for the client's approval before filming commenced. The result was to create videos that brought inaccessible parts of the castle to life.
